Dear Friends,

What a month! It seems to give the phrase “March Madness” a whole new perspective. Four teams in four weeks, WOW!

When we were together, the week seemed to fly by, and although I was able to spend a bit of time alone with each of you, I have to say I am continually so impressed by the caliber of people who are drawn to Hearts In Motion. I am always so grateful for each of your individual contributions to make this trip run so smoothly. The hours of pre-planning and packing, the preparation that pulls this together still amazes me after 25 years of HIM service.

Special thanks to Mark Paxton for keeping enthusiasm alive and flourishing for the West Coast contingent and for each of you who make the commitment to support the programs of Hearts in Motion. Our great week together gave many Guatemalan children and families a new hope for a better future. Each area of dedicated work (surgery, clinics, construction, computer repair) affected those we hoped to serve in an incredible way.

Thanks for giving of yourself to help this mission continue in spectacular success. Can’t wait to travel with you all again in the near future.
